We finished the game.
No idea how. Two hours before the deadline nothing was working and we were basically negotiating with the engine.
What happened
- We cut anything that didn’t directly help the core loop
- We stopped “adding” and started making what existed feel consistent
- The final build is… playable. And honestly kind of fun.
Biggest lesson (so far)
Getting one mechanic to feel right beats shipping five half-working ones.
Where it lives now
It’s in the Games archive on the site so it doesn’t disappear into the void.
